I once had a friend tell me that re-reading a book is like walking backwards. I wholeheartedly disagree.
I own way too many books not to re-read them and one of the very reasons these books have been purchased is because I enjoyed them tremendously and look forward to re-reading them.
Recently, I picked a motivational book off my shelf that I purchased ten years ago and never got past chapter three. It just wasn’t inspiring me.
This time, I read it straight through in two days finding it hitting all the triggers that I needed right now in my life.
Re-reading a book or an article or even a quote or mantra is a great way to find inspiration when you need it most.
So feel free to surround yourself with inspiring reads and make sure that you review them regularly.
When the student is ready the teacher (and the powerful words) will arrive.
