Most likely! Trance is an everyday experience. You go in and out of it all day long. For example, you are in trance and “mesmerized” when lost in thought, stare into space, daydream or fantasize. You are in a natural trance when you drive down the road and didn’t notice how you got from there to here.
When you read a book, listen to music, play a video or a sport or watch something on TV, you enter into the altered state of awareness called trance. This alternate state of consciousness is very useful. That is why many athletes, performers and successful entrepreneurs use hypnosis to be at the top of their game. In fact, you hypnotize yourself all day long with your self-talk. This state of mind includes automatic thoughts, behaviors and experiences, and it is in charge of your attitudes and the functioning of your body’s actions and reactions.
HOW DOES HYPNOSIS WORK?
Trance can happen in a flash or linger longer… even a lifetime. AND you can become alert to NOW and different mind-states whenever you choose. Focused awareness or attention on something—like breath, thoughts, a person’s voice, a spot on the wall or simply imagining something—are easy ways to enter trance.
When entranced by a hypnotist you relax and “let go” as your unconscious [or inner] mind takes on useful information.
Hypnosis has a dramatic influence upon your emotional experience and it’s fun and easy to use.
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO VISIT A HYPNOTIST?
People ask me, “Shelley if you hypnotize me, will I cluck like a chicken?” I tell them, “Only if you want to.” A professional hypnotist, hypnotherapist or hypno-coach helps you do what you want to do. It’s an excellent tool and the best ways to use trance for your advantage. A hypnosis session can be done individually or in groups. In trance you’re keenly aware. You will notice that time slows down or speeds up and distractions seem less distracting. Your focused attention gets the results you want. Hypnosis is a powerful tool with amazing positive results.
Two variables get the best outcomes:
1. You’re motivated to get the results you want.
2. You like and feel good about the hypnotist you choose.
Hypnosis has many other names: NLP, Mindfulness, Directed Prayer, Guided Visualization and meditation and many more. Whatever you call it, the message is clear… YOU have an amazing mind and when you master it, you become a Master Mind! So if you are ready to tap the power of your deepest self and achieve wonderful results, consider hypnosis. It is fun and easy to learn and use and it’s proven in hundreds and hundreds of university studies to get results.
